Friday August 7-September 26

First Friday Opening: August 7 at 5:00PM

This exhibition brings together four accomplished artists whose work celebrates the extraordinary found within the familiar. Through luminous realism, evocative landscapes, imaginative charcoal drawings, and expressive coastal scenes, Anthony Wiker, D.S. Ingram, Dorothy Stepenaski, and Teri Edgeworth invite viewers to slow down, observe deeply, and reconnect with the beauty that surrounds us.

Anthony Wiker's painterly oil paintings transform everyday moments into intimate experiences. Whether depicting figures, still lifes, or horses in quiet pastures, his work explores light, color, texture, and human connection with warmth and sensitivity. His paintings celebrate life's fleeting moments, revealing the emotional richness hidden in ordinary encounters.

D.S. Ingram approaches realism from a different perspective, pairing extraordinary technical precision with imaginative storytelling. Working in charcoal, his meticulously rendered drawings introduce subtle elements of magical realism and surrealism, where commonplace subjects become captivating narratives that blur the boundary between reality and imagination.

For more than fifty years, Dorothy Stepenaski has created landscapes that speak to memory and reflection. Her pastel paintings evoke quiet moments in nature, inviting viewers to revisit cherished experiences and rediscover the sense of wonder found in peaceful places. Her work reminds us that landscapes are not merely places we visit, but emotional spaces we carry within us.

Teri Edgeworth completes the exhibition with richly textured acrylic paintings inspired by the shoreline. Her luminous blues, layered surfaces, and expressive interpretations of water celebrate the restorative beauty of coastal life while encouraging a deeper appreciation for the fragile ecosystems that inspire her work. Each painting offers both a visual escape and an invitation to reflect on our enduring relationship with the natural world.

Join us for our First Friday opeing on August 7th at 5PM.
