If you spend your time chasing butterflies they'll just fly away. The moment you focus on tending to your garden, the butterflies will come flying in and even if those butterflies don’t come you still are left with a flourishing garden. 

“Her” was a series made to capture the essence of being persistent with finding your center in hope it will attract what was made for you in this life. Taking life's lessons to sculpt your way into your full potential. Using the eyes as a representation of the windows to the soul and for the series entirely, as each piece deepens with the main theme of building your garden. Leading to the focal piece “Fall Back Into Place.”  All while, visually adding a flow of pink/blue hues and greens to create a sense of harmony and cohesion in between the work.

Britney is a self taught surrealist painter. Taking the darkest parts of life, shedding light upon it, and turning it into art. Exhibiting a detail oriented approach with no limitation on color or composition to share stories of mental health and self growth. Overall, to create a safe space or form of escapism for others. With the help of lots of inspiration from nature and anatomy with a touch of mixed media to immerse the audience into an altered reality.
