Elizabeth A. Pituch

Elizabeth A. Pituch is an abstract artist originally from New Jersey, known for her keen eye for beauty and masterful use of color. She earned her BFA in Painting and Sculpture from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and has exhibited widely across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York, including prominent galleries in SoHo and the Upper East Side.

Throughout her career, Elizabeth has embraced a multidisciplinary approach to art, collaborating with poets and performance artists, and working in a curatorial capacity with institutions such as the Morristown Museum. She believes deeply in the power of environment to shape perception andexperience, which s led her to participate in notable installation art projects like the Rutgers University Library Project and The October Project, a traveling exhibition throughout New Jersey.

Her numerous solo exhibitions include an invitation-only solo show at The Trenton City Museum—one of many honors recognizing her commitment to the arts. Elizabeth was awarded a teaching assistantship for Artmaking classes at Rutgers, and she is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Somerset Cultural and Heritage Commission Arts Award, the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Purchase Award, and the Giza Daniels Endisha Award for Excellence in the Arts. Her work resides in collections across NJ, PA, NY, Missouri, Florida, and Ohio.

Elizabeth’s journey to Lancaster, Pennsylvania began serendipitously when she met her future husband, a Lancaster businessman, while in Ocean City, NJ. Now happily settled in Lancaster, she is honored to be a Resident Artist at the Lancaster Art Vault, continuing her creative journey in a vibrant community.
